A BCITF provides financial assistance for a range of training programs including

• New apprenticeships and traineeships
• Occupational health and safety
• Post-trade qualifications
• Upskilling and multiskilling
• Business skills
• New technology skills
• Higher qualifications
• Prevocational courses
• Vocational education and training in schools

BCITFs also support and provide financial assistance to some equity groups and trades that have been identified as having a shortage of qualified tradespeople.
